An accessory for the proper serving of absinthe. A lump of sugar is placed on the absinthe spoon, on which a few drops of water are dripped to soak and dissolve it, or a little absinthe is poured on the sugar and set on fire. In both cases, the dissolved sugar flows through the holes in the spoon and into the absinthe glass.
